On Monday, Trish had to go to work for the day so Steven brought Codie and Lauren over for lunch.  Cort took Codie fishing and Codie caught two really huge Rock Bass.  On arrival back to the boat they were immediately cleaned and cooked to join our fish fry lunch.

On tuesday we spent the afternoon at the beach with Trish and Steven and the kids and then after dinner Steven picked us up with his boat so we could see their new trailer at Sunset Trailer park.  Very nice!

On thursday morning we hauled out and headed for Parry Sound.  When we got there we tied to the Town Dock, did some shopping and went out for dinner.  We anchored out for the night and then went in again the next day so we could get our groceries and go to the library.  We anchored out again that night.

We pulled into Bying Inlet, at 6:30 on Sunday July 5th, 2003.  We made it back to our home port!  Wright's Marina, where we used to keep our boat, never looked so good.  Huge waves from the staff as we went by!  Oh yes it is good to be home again!!

Would we do it again?    YES
Time out of the water for repairs.    4 1/2  weeks
Best food    Paducah-  Oysters at Whaler Choice Restaurant and Garlic Blue Crabs in Goodland Florida
Number of miles.    About 6,000.
Most amazing Sites.    Huge Barges on the Mississippi River and the extremely crowded anchorage in Boot Key Marathon Florida.
Most beautiful Scenery.     from the Trent to Britt, Have to say Canada is Blessed with some of the most beautiful cruising areas, barr non.
Scariest thing.    Almost hitting a barge when our steering went!
The most Amazing thing.    The following we have developed on our Web Site, thanks for reading and e-mailing.  It helped us feel like we were still in touch!

We have met some very interesting and friendly people on our travels, from our Librarian Friend in Chilicothe Illinois who took us in like family, to all those people who invited us on board their boats and shared their hospitality and the countless strangers who offered us their cars and any other help we might need.
